Our condo is easy to find using GPS mapping or our turn-by-turn directions listed below. If using GPS–especially. Google Maps–do not add the unit number (“A 104”) to your destination. If you do, it will “auto-correct” the location to a slightly different address. Once in the parking lot, use the last set of directions in any of the lists below to find our condo.
Always be sure to check travel alerts and/or road conditions before starting your drive. This is particularly important in winter and especially over 3-day weekends. It is not uncommon for some of these roads to be temporarily shut down due to excessive traffic, accidents, or adverse conditions.
This route is approximately 178 mi / 286 km in length and can be completed in a little over 3 hours under normal conditions.
Exit the airport on Peña Blvd. After approximately 12 mi / 19 km, merge onto I-70 west and continue though the Eisenhower tunnel to Silverthorne (78 mi / 125 km). Take exit 205 onto CO 9 north. In Kremmling, (37 mi / 60 km) turn left onto US 40 towards Steamboat Springs.
After your decent of Rabbit Ears pass, turn right at the first light onto Walton Creek Road. At the first stop sign, make another right onto Whistler Road followed by an immediate left into the Shadow Run parking lot. As you enter the lot, you will see a sidewalk directly in front of you. This will take you to our unit (Building A). Park in any spot.
Take the sidewalk past the hot tub. At the Y, bear left and take a half flight stairs to the ground level. Our condo is the last one to the left–A 104.
This is a longer alternative to Rabbit Ears Pass. From Denver, this route is approximately 200 mi / 322 km and can be completed in about 4 hours under normal conditions. This route is recommended if Rabbit Ears is closed.
Exit the airport on Peña Blvd. After approximately 12 mi / 19 km, merge onto I-70 west and continue though the Eisenhower tunnel to Silverthorne (78 mi / 125 km). Take exit 205 onto CO 9 north. In Kremmling (37 mi / 60 km), turn left onto US 40 towards Steamboat Springs. At the intersection with CO 134 (6 mi / 10 km), take another left over Gore Pass. In Toponas (27 mi / 44 km), make a right onto CO 131 north towards Steamboat Springs. At the intersection with CO 40 (35 mi / 56 km), turn left.
Alternatively, you can also take I-70 over Vail Pass. This adds another 12 mi / 20 km (15 min). Take I-70 west to 157 (116 mi / 187 km) directly onto CO 131 north. At the intersection with CO 40 (69 mi / 110 km), turn left.
In either case, after your left turn onto CO 40, turn right at the first light onto Walton Creek Road. At the first stop sign, make another right onto Whistler Road followed by an immediate left into the Shadow Run parking lot. As you enter the lot, you will see a sidewalk directly in front of you. This will take you to our unit (Building A). Park in any spot.

Take I-25 north exiting west onto C 470 (53 mi / 85 km). Exit west again onto I-70 (29 mi / 46 km) going though the Eisenhower tunnel to Silverthorne (58 mi / 93 km). Take exit 205 onto CO 9 north. In Kremmling (37 mi / 60 km), turn left onto US 40 towards Steamboat Springs.

Take CO 14 west over Cameron Pass to Walden (99 mi / 158 km). Continue on CO 14 towards Steamboat Springs to the intersection with US 40 (34 mi / 54 km). Turn right and head over Rabbit Ears Pass.

Take I-70 west through Glenwood Springs and Eagle to exit 157 (117 mi / 187 km). Exit on CO 131 north to US 40. At the intersection with CO 40 (82 mi / 132 km), turn left.
Turn right at the first light onto Walton Creek Road. At the first stop sign, make another right onto Whistler Road followed by an immediate left into the Shadow Run parking lot. As you enter the lot, you will see a sidewalk directly in front of you. This will take you to our unit (Building A). Park in any spot.

Take WY 230 west to the Colorado border where it changes to CO 127 (43 mi / 69 km). Continue on CO 127 to Walden (24 mi / 38 km). Take CO 14 towards Steamboat Springs to the intersection with US 40 (34 mi / 54 km). Turn right and head over Rabbit Ears Pass.

The Yampa Valley Regional Airport is located just a few miles east of Hayden and is often referred to as the Hayden airport. From here, it takes about 35 minutes to reach our condo.
Shuttle services are available if you’d rather not rent a car. Steamboat has an excellent transportation system so renting a car is often unnecessary. Tell the shuttle service you need to go to the Shadow Run Condominiums. They are all familiar with this area.
If driving, take the access road from the airport for about 2 mi / 3 km to US 40 and turn right. Continue through downtown Steamboat Springs (22 mi / 35 km) to the light at Walton Creek Road. This will be the second light after the Mount Werner exit. Turn left onto Walton Creek.
At the first stop sign, make another right onto Whistler Road followed by an immediate left into the Shadow Run parking lot. As you enter the lot, you will see a sidewalk directly in front of you. This will take you to our unit (Building A). Park in any spot.
