Essential Information

Parking

Parking is both free and plentiful at the Shadow Run complex.  We find it most convenient to park to the left side of the complex (i.e. turn left when you first enter the lot).  Two vehicles are allowed.  Oversize vehicles (e.g. RVs) and trailers are not allowed.  Our snow removal crews will occasionally need vehicles to be moved.  You will be contacted via email in that event. 

Check-In

Check-in time is 4 pm.  If you would like to request an earlier time, please notify us as soon as possible.  We cannot guarantee an earlier time but will do our best to do so.  Three days before your arrival date, you will be provided with a key code for to the lock box via email.  This lock box will contain a single key.  Once you open the front door, three additional keys will be available on hooks to your left.  All keys unlock the front door as well as the outdoor storage locker opposite.  Please immediately contact us if there are missing keys so that we do not charge you for a lost key.

Check-Out

Check-out time is 11 am. If you would like to request a later time, please notify us as soon as possible.  We cannot guarantee a later time but will do our best to do so. Late checkouts may be subject to an additional night’s rental if we have to re-schedule housekeeping or the next guest.  When departing, please be sure to leave three keys on the hooks and a single key in the lock box.  Once the keys are left, you are “checked out”.  Lost or missing keys are subject to a $25 fee each.  If you accidentally take a key with you, please let us know ASAP.  We will give you return instructions and refund your $25 once we get it back.

Wifi

The condo has free internet through Xfinity.  Wifi credentials will be provided three days prior to your stay.

Heat / Air Conditioning

There are thermostats for the electric baseboard heat in the kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom, and bathroom.  In addition, the living room also has a thermostat for the gas fireplace (black remote located on the wall).  Please adjust these to suit your comfort.  We highly recommend using the fireplace remote over the electric heat as it provides a more even and comfortable heat.  

There is no air conditioning inside the condo (nor is there for the vast majority of Steamboat properties).  Because the unit is on the ground level, it naturally stays cool.  Fans can be found inside the hallway closet if additional cooling is needed.

Trash / Recycling

Trash and recycling receptacles are located in the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom.  If you need to empty these mid-stay, there are large bins for both recycling and garbage in the parking lot.  The closest one is near the bus stop.  

Getting Around

Getting around Steamboat is easy with or without a car.  Parking is mostly free in town and spots are rarely difficult to find–especially on side streets.  If you do not have a car, check out the Steamboat Springs Transit page for the most up-to-date bus schedules.  Airport shuttles are also available for transportation to and from the Yampa Valley Regional Airport.

Lost + Found

We do not maintain an official lost + found.  If you believe you left something, please contact us and we’ll ask housekeeping to search for it.  If housekeeping finds an item, we will attempt to contact you so that it can be returned to you.  If we are unable to contact you, left items will either be destroyed or donated.
